Account Information from Connected Platforms

When you connect a social media account, we receive and store the following through OAuth authentication:

  • Your platform account ID and display name
  • OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens
  • Granted permission scopes

Content You Publish

We store:

  • Post text content and platform-specific customizations
  • Uploaded media files (images and videos)
  • Publication status and results per platform

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect personal information beyond what is provided through OAuth
  • We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics
  • We do not collect browsing behavior or device information

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

  • Authenticate with social media platforms on your behalf
  • Publish content to your connected accounts
  • Display publication status and history
  • Refresh expired authentication tokens

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Convex cloud infrastructure. OAuth tokens are stored in a secure database and are only used server-side for API calls to social media platforms. Tokens are never exposed to the client browser.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your content is only sent to the social media platforms you have explicitly connected and selected for publishing.

6. Third-Party Services

FlixySocial integrates with the following third-party platforms through their official APIs:

  • YouTube (Google)
  • Facebook (Meta)
  • Instagram (Meta)
  • Threads (Meta)
  • LinkedIn (Microsoft)
  • TikTok (ByteDance)
  • X / Twitter

Each platform has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your accounts are connected to the Service. You can disconnect any platform at any time from the Settings page, which will deactivate the stored tokens. You may also request complete data deletion as described in our Data Deletion Policy.

You have the right to:

  • Disconnect any connected platform at any time
  • Request deletion of all your stored data
  • Know what data we store about you

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
