1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FlixySocial ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FlixySocial is a self-hosted social media publishing tool that allows users to compose and publish content to multiple social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Threads. The Service acts as an intermediary to facilitate content publishing through official platform APIs.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To use the Service, you must connect your social media accounts through OAuth authentication. By connecting your accounts, you authorize FlixySocial to publish content on your behalf to the connected platforms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected accounts and for all activities that occur through your use of the Service.

4. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you publish through FlixySocial. You must ensure that your content complies with the terms of service and community guidelines of each target platform. FlixySocial does not review, moderate, or take responsibility for user-generated content.

5. Platform API Usage

FlixySocial interacts with third-party social media platforms through their official APIs. The availability and functionality of publishing features depend on these third-party APIs and are subject to their respective terms, rate limits, and restrictions. FlixySocial is not responsible for changes, outages, or limitations imposed by third-party platforms.

6. Data Storage

FlixySocial stores OAuth access tokens, post content, and media files necessary to provide the Service. Data is stored securely using Convex cloud infrastructure. See our Privacy Policy for more details on data handling.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Publish spam, misleading, or harmful content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Circumvent rate limits or restrictions of connected platforms

8. Service Availability

FlixySocial is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlixySocial and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to failed publications, content loss, or account suspensions on third-party platforms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
